Just ask to confirm The vanilla is good, matcha is solid, the one with kunafe-like sprinkle is tasty, and creme brule with pistachio crumble is also delightful A bit crowded but the line is bearable. Lot of seats and the decoration is eye pleasing too $7.8 for the smallest size"

"After 24 years, I revisited Canberra again. This time, the city central has changed a lot. During this trip, weather is a bit hot. So, I am looking for some cold snack and then I saw Anita Gelato. When i walked in, the que was a bit long. So, i have waited. Guess what? The wait is worthed. The Gelato is so nice. So so so smooth. Price OK. Taste OK Portion OK. Service Great. Definitely will come back again if I travel to Canberra again."

"I finally got to try the Greenberry (Dubai cup) and it did not disappoint! A delicious combo of melted chocolate, fresh strawberries, crispy kataifi, and a scoop of pistachio gelato on top - honestly one of the highlights of my visit. 10/10 I also had the Froyo with unlimited toppings. It was super refreshing and creamy, and being able to load it up with all my favourite toppings made it even better. Of course, I couldn’t leave without sampling a bunch of gelato flavours, big shoutout to the patient and friendly staff I took home Caramel Cookie and Cheesecake, plus Mint Choc Chip and Hazelnut Wafer (love all of these equally) Invited but loved everything enough to want to come back on my own and already planning my next visit [invite]"

"Stopped by Anita Gelato in Canberra and ordered the mango, matcha, and pistachio — and this is about as close as it gets to going to Italy without actually going to Italy. The mango tastes real — fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with actual fruit, not that artificial sweetness. The matcha is rich and deep, properly earthy and balanced, not watered down or overly sweet. The pistachio rounds it out perfectly — nutty, smooth, and indulgent. Polished the whole thing off embarrassingly fast and devoured it like it was the best thing on earth. One of those desserts that makes you slow down… and then immediately want another scoop. If you love proper gelato, this place is non-negotiable. Once you’ve had this, everything else is just frozen dessert pretending to be gelato."

"The place is a must visit if you are in Canberra. They have a variety of gelato to try. They have the viral Dubai cup as well. The staff are very friendly and suggest flavours as well. I tried multiple gelatos before i decided which one i wanted to buy. They sell fro-yo as well. There is a lot of seating space. The ambience is definitely insta worthy so are the gelato’s. A 100 recommend going in and grabbing some gelato!"

"Anita Gelato is a very popular gelato place in Bunda St in the city. A large variety of flavours on display for all palates. I tried the creme brulee with pistachio crumble, as well as the hazelnut mousse chocolate crunch. I would definitely have them again. My daughter had the mint chocolate chip which is my childhood favourite and as she couldn't finish it, I was allowed a taste of that. Fast and efficient staff allows the line to keep moving so you won't have to wait too long, but it is popular so the line does get long sometimes. Recommended for a cool desert option."

"This place is a must-visit if you’re in Canberra! I’m from Melbourne and came up for a three-day trip and I had Anita Gelato all three days in a row. The texture is just so good and to me it’s better than at least 95% of the gelato I’ve tried in Melbourne."
